On July 21, 2013, three Lincoln University alumni were inducted into the Mighty Lion Alumni Chapter of Groove Phi Groove Social Fellowship Incorporated. These three men are collectively known as the Yard Birds.
The Summer 2013 inductees included the following Lincoln University alumni:
