James Parker, Membership Chair of the Mighty Lion Virtual Alumni Chapter, is a Lincoln University graduate of the Class of 1975. Fellowman Parker has been a member of Groove Phi Groove Social Fellowship Incorporated, Mighty Lion Chapter, since the Spring of 1972. He crossed the burning sands into Groove Phi Land with the brothers of the “Return of the Ten.” Fellowman Parker recently received his Masters of Social Work degree with honors from Temple University.
Currently, he is a social worker with the Philadelphia Department of Human Services. Prior to his 16 years as a social worker, Fellowman Parker served children and families as a teacher and group therapist.
Fellowman Parker converted to the faith of Al-Islam in 1975 after graduating from Lincoln and adopted the name, Na’eem Shareef. He and his wife Shawn have two children – Tahir and Amira, ages 5 and 8 respectively. Fl. Parker enjoys fishing, tennis, and is a self-styled jazz aficionado. He has membership in both Bass Anglers Sportsman Society (BASS) and the United States Tennis Associations.
