William G. Smith is the Vice President of Finance for The Cooper Health System. Mr. Smith joined Cooper in April of 2001. He has more than 30 years of healthcare leadership and management experience; including a 14-year stay at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania with increasing leadership responsibilities that led to Controller. His past experience encompasses consulting and serving in financial leadership positions at other institutions which were both profit and not-for-profit organizations.
Fellowman Smith holds a Masters of Business Administration from Temple University and earned his Bachelor of Science in Accounting and Finance with honors from Lincoln University.
He currently serves as:
- Treasurer on the Board of Trustees for North East Treatment Centers, Inc. (NET); which provides services to Greater Philadelphia for Behavioral Health and Social Services
- A member of the Deacon Board at St. Matthews Baptist Church in Williamstown, NJ
- Board member for the Boy Scouts of America – South Jersey Region
